Virginia Y. Lee's Harlem Renaissance Book Club In-Person
Join the Gainsboro Branch Library as we read books inspired by the historic Virginia Y. Lee Collection. Each month we will highlight a novel from Harlem Renaissance authors that our beloved librarian and civil rights activist, Virginia Y. Lee, would have promoted at the Gainsboro Library during her tenure. This month we will be reading A Long Way from Home by Claude McKay!
Stop by the Gainsboro Branch Library, starting October 27th, to pick up a copy and register. Free copies are limited to first eight book club registrants.
